The rental season for yachts and boats in Friesland lasts from early spring to late autumn. During this period, the yacht charter company has a full schedule: welcoming guests, cleaning boats, performing maintenance, and fixing occasional issues.

This work is not limited to standard office hours. Even late in the evening, attention may be required. After the last guests of the year have left, there is still plenty to do. Boats are taken out of the water to repair scratches and wear, while maintenance and cleaning of curtains and upholstery are carried out.

For 26 boats, that means around 350 to 450 curtains, all of which need to be ironed and neatly folded—a time-consuming task requiring precision and care.
